At some point in her education, someone forgot to inform La Bariza that she's a horse. She would challenge such a ridiculous idea. Afterall, she's always thought she was people.

During the twice yearly "noise festivals" (New Years Eve at Midnight and the Fourth of July) Jim stays home to hang out with the horses, feeding them apples and trying to assure them that all the noise and ruckus is actually a good thing.
