Why's he doing this you ask? Here's the short, er....long answer from the 26 blog.

And here's a few recent shots.
The entire community is on board. Well maybe not some folks...say at the county fair, but if Cheyenne Jackson can put us on the map, certainly the sight of a couple wedding dresses, worn on a dude, displayed in the photo competitions at the Pend Oreille County Fair, taken as the pre-hike publicity photos, all in preparation for that day when those gowns 'll be worn on the Pacific Crest Trail, than our latest claim to fame can't hurt.
They say that there's no such thing as bad publicity, and these great photo's certainly can't hurt Ron's efforts.
This is about beauty.
Beauty will save the world, right?
Especially when defined by the sight of 26 wedding gowns, worn over the course of 26 weeks, step- by-step over 2600 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail.
Marriage is hard. But these gowns are up for going the distance.
Not just anyone can take the Selkirks by storm and really is there nothing quite compared to the unexpected sight of your basic wedding dress, worn by some studly guy, on the streets of Sandpoint, Idaho... uh just walking the dog?
We go by the motto "near nature, near perfect" in these parts. And this is about as perfect as perfect gets.
Ansel Adams had nothing on Ron.
Sure Adams shot some purty pictures.
But he's got some serious competition now. Take for instance this image, shot in Missouri...
Ron lives in a little tiny cabin. He lives on next to nothing. He works in a blue collar trade. But he is bound for greatness.
Donate. Get him closer to getting back on the trail. And for all your love, you'll get a T Shirt. Just like one of these.
Don't make us beg! What are ya waiting for?
Support the dude already! Send him some love. Hell, why not even send him that old wedding gown? The one gathering dust in your closet. You were only going to wear it once anyway, right?
And what's in it for you? Duh.
Get ya one of these super cool t shirts.
