Just a side note: This isn't my image, and I am not sure how or where I came across it---But I've always thought the city shows its worst face when travelers pass through on I 90. From this vantage near Sacred Heart Regional Medical Center, one is 3.5 hours from Glacier. 4 hours from the Canadian Rockies. (Banff / Jasper deeper in the park is a bit farmer.) 6 hours from Yellowstone. 2 hours from Hell's Canyon. An hour from Montana. 15 minutes from Idaho. Cities? Missoula 3 hours. Calgary 6. Edmonton 9. Vancouver BC 6. Portland 6. Seattle 4. and Boise is 6 hours. Our slogan? Near Nature. Near Perfect. Can anyone argue this?
