Brilliantly honest...

I really like this guy, his work, his blog, and the way he is straight up in his writing.  It's not my life, but it's a life worth following and yes, it's in your face---but in this new tea party era of crashing down truth with a battering ram of propaganda and faux images, images that are based on nothing but thin air---we need to make people unsettled, we need to thrust the raw nakedness of who we are and who they really are into the dialogue.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words and these images easily destroy the myths of soundbite, token theology, and conservative standings that have never been honest about the human experience.

I am not patient with change---I know I should be, but I am not.

I like people who crash through denial and who artistically celebrate a life messily lived...complete with it's costs and it's triumphs and the undeniable beauty found in both.

Here is the link to his last work.  I know its not for everyone, but if you've got an open mind, it could be for you. I look forward to Joe's next offering.
