My parents have a time share condo in Leavenworth. They are drawn to this area, and even my mother has a history of ruinous canoe trips, backpacking jaunts, while unknown to her, she was with child. My mother and my father make an annual trip here. This year, on the way to more unsettling medical appointments, I joined them.
