It was so brief. We didn't hit our stride until the second week of July. By the third week of August temps dived into the thirties in the morning hours. It's difficult to express how unsettling this is. And the farmer's gloom and doom book is saying we are in for a hard winter.
I really refuse to accept such dire talk. We are still in shock over the winters of 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 when it continued to snow into June.
So regarding the summer? This summer? Robbed! We've been gyped.
