Snow Job.

So there I was last Tuesday night, enjoying what I thought would be a really strong hint of spring. Then, I woke up to this.

In pure white trash style, the Christmas Lights remain on the trees...mainly because the chords are still buried.

Spokane now stands at 97.7 inches of snow for the season-an all time record.

Whatever Spokane gets, we normally triple that amount. Which means we may have received close to 300 inches of snow.

My fences are all down. My friend John's front porch no longer exists-when the snow slide off his roof, bam!--Gone.

Same with my old house. The front deck, former site of many amazing stage acts---Gone.

Today it is up to 70.

The last patch of snow on the front of the house is about gone.

The rear of the house is next...will it be May? Or June? When will the last remains of Winter finally melt away?
