At one point in their adventures, they'd both grabbed all the icicles hanging off the house, lined the driveway with them and created some sort of ice palace effect. We'd also bought fireworks and set them off over the cliff to ring in the New Year.

Kelcy had been "practicing" for days the art of staying up until Midnight so that she could ring in her first New Years.

For the record, Kelcy is far more skilled at staying up past bedtime than the adults.
