When Rural Beauty Knows No Bounds...

Imagine how humbled, er impressed, we were when several of you forwarded the many links to the story featured below. How touching that legions of our readers suggested that if we hadn't already considered our entree into this pageant, that the time is right for our appearance.

Now.

We are inspired that you, our dear fans, believe we were born to be contestants in this very prestigious contest.

Others took the time to ask, "Have we been so busy on the white trash beauty queen circuit that this is the reason why the fabulous Pendleton Rodeo Princess, 12th Runner-Up, out of a field of 6 (from Echo), has been unable to pen her timeless advise column?"

Unfortunately a court order prevents our answering that very question-along with answering any further advice questions.

Ever Again.

But thank you for thinking of us. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you asking if we are pregnant again. Thank you for sending the baby clothes, the new diapers, the Babies R Us gift certificates, and for asking if we know who the father is. (We don't.)

Thank you to so many of our fearless fans who sent congratulations, flowers, and/or condolences.

Thank you for believing that we might be the first pregnant beauty queens ever to win the Queen of all pageants! The holy cow of all things White Trashness.

But we have to be honest. We have not yet received our crowning.

While it seems encouraging that so many of our dear, dear fans assumed we'd already won the contest and that we've been crowned with that ultimate of all single-wide honors-to be voted the winner of The 2008 White Trash Beauty Queen Pageant,

sigh,

sadly we remain unacknowledged.

Except by our fans of course.

You mean everything to us.

And you always will.
