Republicans face millions in damages from illegal phone jamming operation...

Isn't it pathetic that the firm responsible for this is from Northern Idaho?

Republicans also face potential civil and criminal charges from this years scam..."Robocalling". Cathy McMorris, who sadly won her reelection bid, used this strategy this year.

In violation of federal law, Republican operatives repeatedly called Washington voters identifying themselves with the Peter Goldmark Campaign at the beginning of the call.

If the voter didn't listen to the entire message, they would not learn that the phone call was actually paid for by the McMorris campaign. Yet if the caller hung up, they'd get repeated, irritating calls from the same source. In many instances, these computer generated calls tied up the voters phone lines and were placed in the middle of the night.

The goal? To irritate voters and make them angry with Goldmark, who had nothing to do with the calls but unless the voter listened to the entire message, they'd have never known this.

These calls are a violation of FCC rules, as well as a direct violation of the do not call registry. The potential fines run could into the millions.

Lets hope McMorris is held accountable for such slimball tactics.
