Fixing the Vote...

AP News is reporting that a bill has been introduced in congress to require that electronic voting machines produce an audit worthy papertrail. Hopefully this bill will pass with bi partisan support.

Also the Brad Blog is reporting that at least 7 congressional races remain undecided. Again E Voting machines seem to have flipped or undercounted votes in these races, and in the worst example in Florida, over 18,000 votes remain unaccounted for.

What is the margin seperating these candidates in each race?

A couple hundred votes.

This time though, unlike Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, there are hundreds of reports of problems in each race, with some voters acting on advice from The Brad Blog these worried voters video taping the voting machines flipping or not counting votes.

In Florida the courts have stepped in...

In Colorado, the entire Denver area is outraged over the complete meltdown of their election. Once again E Voting machines are to blame...

Nice eh? All of this could have and should have been prevented. The problems with these machines have been known for a long time...
