Seems the Muslim community surrounding the birth place of Christianity might not be so tolerant...duh.

I always find it interesting that when gay Palestinians come out, they flee with their lives to, drum roll please, Israel-one of the few places in the middle east where it is somewhat safe to be gay.

Funny how all my anti Israel friends, who so hate the jews always fail to mention this.

Yeah I know Jerusalem Pride just got canceled because fundamentalists put a $500 bounty on any gay head...but, at least in Israel this sort of craziness is illegal. But behead a gay person in much of the rest of the Muslim world and you're considered a hero.

So how can the left rationalize their hatred or Israel in light of that? What about all the murders of openly gay people in Europe by Muslim extremists? Where's the outrage about that?

The current track of Muslim extremism, which dominates the movement, isn't exactly pluralistic.

And then there is this:

The Southern Poverty Law Center designates the Traditional Values Coalition as a Hate Group. Ranking right up there with the Klan. Lou Sheldon, (and the family he's employed through his tax exempt organization) are on the record as knowing about Haggard's sexual orientation issues for months....and covering it up.

Gasp.

When has the Traditional Values Coalition ever kept their mouth shut about anything?

That is unless it's one of their own that's busted...

Meanwhile James Dobson bails from the "win-win" team approach to "de gay" Haggard...

Could this be because Dobson knows sexual orientation is genetic and he's trying to avoid another PR disaster? In the form of another ex gay success story that it later turns out is really, ah hem...gay?

How much is Dobson worried that Haggard's relapsing could screw up what little still remains of Dobson's credibility?

A huge percentage of the income Focus on the Family receives comes directly from their gay bashing and their completely unscientific claims that sexual orientation is something that can be "fixed"...and of course that it, being gay, is a choice.
