Many of you know Jeanette- Especially if you were among the hundreds of folks who attended the campouts we used to host. AKA Anita Newspouse and Penelope Wrong, she's one of the funniest gals to walk the planet.
Our friendship spans way too long. The stories, oh my god the stories, we've got to tell.
Someday I imagine Jeanette and I sitting on matching rockers, on some log cabin commune for gay senior citizens, telling young visitors just how it used to be.
I wrote about Jeanette in a recent Stonewall News Northwest Column (just google it-the title of the article is Unlikely Longterm Companions ) trying to span the journey of our lives in 700 words or less. Not easy.
Anyway the following set of photos is of Jeanettes latest adventure. I spent a year working as a driver-guide in Alaska-the best job I've ever had and I miss it. These photos bring back a lot of memories...
