Chill Out!

Because so much of the nation suffers from a heat wave... I thought I'd offer a cool respite...
These photos were taken in Pend Oreille County, up near the Calispel Valley...
And in Leavenworth, Washington...on the eastern flanks of the Cascade Range...
Right before the holidays...
Hopefully these shots provide a bit of relief...
And a sense that all seasons eventually pass...
