
That's my longtime friend Jeanette...we've been road warriors, urban dwellers, country bumpkins, seen one another both partnered and divorced-we've been sleepless in Seattle, songstruck in Spokane, stuck in the snow on the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River-Indeed over the twenty plus years I've known her, together we've hiked out, hiked in, hiked over, and hitchhiked for help from the most remote locations on more than a few adventures.
Recently Jeanette stopped in to visit on her way to a fly fishing excursion in Montana-lucky her! To spend a week on the wonderous Clark Fork River, which terminates into Lake Pend Oreille about 60 miles from here...This picture was taken near Alberton Montana.
