The rest of the story on the Feral Cats...When the temps went below zero, the Ghost kitty disappeared and we haven't seen her since. The cat above, the one Kevin has named "Mama Kitty", also disappeared. Today she made her "where ya been?" tour across the front porch. She rubs against the window, purrs, and watches every move in the house. She is not one for petting, unless a window separates her from us.

The third cat, the one we named Misty---mainly because she appeared in the fog, recently abandoned and hurt, has been adopted by one of my co-workers. I call her The Reunion Kitty because about the same time she appeared, my co worker reconsiled with her estranged husband-who is slowly accepting the while he was gone 5 cats arrived to take his place.

Naturally he likes Misty the best. She's a good luck Kitty.

As I post these entree's this evening, Mama Kitty is lying on the footon, watching my every move. She's got my back. I'd like to think, she knows that we've also got hers.
