Goin' to Paradise...

I just wanted to give folks a heads up that I'm going to be off line for the next several days. Lane, Kevin, and Lane's family (and a very lucky me) will be heading east to Montana for the holiday weekend.

I hope everyone has a fantastic and most importantly, safe holiday!

In case you're stuck at home, well don't get too bummed... there's plenty to keep your attention occupied in the many blogs we've started to post here. While we try to keep the stuff we post rated pg 13, we can't speak for the other sites listed...We definately try to avoid any overt pornography but you never know what someone is going to post, what images they allow, or how various readers might respond...Surf gently and carry a big mouse click...

Anyway, please enjoy the weekend...hopefully Lord willing we'll be back next week with all sorts of great shots...

Take er ez,

Tim

Thanks go out to Lane for these amazing shots...

We've had a horrible fire season east of the Cascades...I think so far for the year we are well over 75 structures burned in eastern Washington wildfires...

These photos were taken up near Usk, Washington and show one of the primary weapons we employ to fight wildfires...

Enjoy...(and say a few prayers for our guys fighting these fires in the woods...) Posted by Picasa

Finding Never Neverland North

I thought I would show some of the quiet places I walk...

Reflecting ponds both real and virtual...

Among the bear and the white tail...

Among the squirrels and ravens...

With the soaring eagles and osprey overhead...

Joined by the southern-bound, ever migrating geese...

A place where the slightest rustle of the breeze

Brings together dried leaves and brush in a symphony

of deadwood chimes...

Where the winded musicians know of seasons change...

Before the ebb of Hot August Nights...

These are the trails where higher powers seem unrestrained...

And where human restraint seems a possibility...

Echoed in the final note...

Sounding the irrelevancy of relevance. Posted by Picasa
